Habitat Home Repair (HHR)

The name of the ABWK program has been changed to Habitat Home Repair (HHR) to better commnicate what we do.
We are offering a repair service for needy homeowner. The concept is similar to Repair Affair, except that it will be continuous instead of once a year. Call 270-360-9900 for an applicaton if you meet the following criteria:
•You must own the home to be repaired.
•Your income must be less than 60% of the Hardin County Median Income.
•You must be able to pay for the materials required to do the job. However, some financial assistance may be available in cases of financial need. Payment will be required before we buy materials. If the need for assistance exceeds $2000 we will require a second mortgage to secure a zero percent loan for the full amount of the materials.
•Cost of material cannot exceed $9000.
•You must be a resident of Hardin County.

We need team leader and volunteer to support this program. Go to the volunteer tab and complete the application if you are interested in helping. Also, follow our progress on facebook/hardin county habitat.
